about me

I matriculated at Clare College, Cambridge, in 2012, graduated with Honours in 2015 and have been teaching and tutoring continuously ever since. I received my MA from the University of Cambridge in 2019 and currently teach part-time in an outstanding secondary school in Nottinghamshire, England.

After graduating from Cambridge I taught at Brentwood School, where as well as classroom responsibilities as a Teacher of English within the secondary (high) school, I mentored prospective Oxbridge and Ivy League candidates in a wide range of subjects.

My students have gone on to study subjects as varied as Art History, Classics, English, History, Law, Psychology and Theology at Oxford and Cambridge as well as on prestigious scholarships such as the Morehead-Cain in the United States. But more than that, they develop a life-long love for their subjects, and in the process they become (or start to become) deeply curious lateral and abstract thinkers, equipped with all the intensive habits of investigation and capacities for critical appraisal and sensitive self-expression that characterise the most successful, ambitious learners.
